Our Macon National Day of Prayer Committee's dedicated volunteers will be working diligently to have our next local Observance again be a very memorable day of unity in our community and bring much honor and glory to God!  We "put out" a lot it was in 1988 Congress unanimously passed the National Day of Prayer would be the first Thursday of May.  Knowing when this annual day will be, participation in our "Save the Date Campaign" helps people not schedule too close to noon that day!  Would you print off from our local website our Event Fliers with complete details to post & hand out at your business, post about NDP on your social media, & check out our local website's Sign Campaign Page for if have sign to put up NDP?

Could it work at your business for all to carpool together, bringing sandwiches from home or using a drive through to, or from, Rosa Parks?  One may need to stay at work to take calls, unless have answering means?  Downtown parking partnerships are wonderful logistics support!  We are trying to grow the carpooling & for churches to carpool or vanpool to accommodate & motivate being part of this only 30 minutes on the lunch hour memorable, most meaningful, unifying coming together!  Letting passengers off at Rosa Parks & drivers using a parking option is helpful!  Complete guide to parking options is on our Event Fliers.  Drivers can catch either of the 2 churches' vans driving through to pick up for taking to Rosa Parks Event site.  And, after Program, ride one of church van shuttles back to where parked to return for passengers.  Macon's NDP is valued for bringing citizens together in harmony! 

When founidnding fathers started NDP in 1979, they wanted a monthly Prayer oppprtunity also!  In addition to the annual first Thursday of May NDP, a 2nd Wed. Monthly Prayer opportunity is at Macon-Bibb Government Center (formerly called Macon City Hall) in Room 205, Noon to 1 p.m.  There we include praying by name for local, state, and national elected and appointed government officials, using Prayer Guides we encourage be duplicated and shared.  We are offered 2nd Wed. parking by nearby St. Joseph's Church in their corner lot to left of their church front.  To be added to 2nd Wed. email reminders (all sent BCC), email us? 

We rely on God's answering our prayers for every detail of all it takes to have Macon's NDP, including the expenses.  We carefully spend the funds which God brings our way.  We can send by return mail a receipt for any tax deductible contribution made to the Macon non-profit under whch NDP falls “Here's Life, Macon" and mailed to Macon NDP C/O Bruce Leicht 4219 Forsyth Road Macon, GA 31210.
